say it loud and do it proud

Daniel Hughes, the esteemed inventor of the microphone was born today in 1831. There are always those inventions that we use everyday, but don't know who invented it. I believe this is a major one. And I'm sure Hughes never would have fathomed the amount of microphones that would be on the market today. From toy microphones, to inflatable ones, even to ones covered in swarovski crystals--the microphone seems to be everywhere...

Today, I spent the morning playing tennis, which was deemed appropriate since today is also the 39th birthday of Gabriela Sabatini (1970). The now retired tennis player from Buenos Aires turned pro in 1985, was ranked No. 1 in South America between 1985--1995. She was also the first tennis player to have a doll produced in her likeness.

Today I've been looking over pictures of Kristen Stewart. I was tempted once the movie Speak came on the Lifetime channel. I do like Kristen Stewart, but I do feel kind of bad that I cannot get into the Twilight movies, which are apparently a big thing at my school. I seem to be the only one that has not seen the movie or read any of the books. However, here are a few of my favorite Kristen Stewart pictures.

It would be quite an honor to be the first tennis player to have a doll produced in one's likeness, haha. I love the pictures of Kristen Stewart. She's does pretty well as a model.
