...say quick that you believe. If you believe, clap your hands."
Today is the birthday of Sir J.M. Barrie (1860), the beloved Scottish author, famous for his writing of Peter Pan.
I had to include this quote because I really do believe in stuff like that: fairies and ghosts and life on other planets. The famous Cottingley photographs were taken by Elsie Wright who later explained that she hand-drew the fairy and then attached it to the tree with a hatpin...
Normally I don't really care for spiders (or any other insect for that matter), but this is just too good to keep to myself. French artist Louise Bourgeois is having an exhibit at the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington D.C. Unfortunately the exhibit only goes to the 17th of May. In my opinion some of her best work is her spider sculptures...
Now, I have decided to give you a glimpse of my past week through the outfits I have worn.

I do like to paint occasionally, but I am certainly not near any true artistic talent. I love art and even plan to minor in Art History once I transfer, but I am content to be an English major. But people tell me I look like an artist because of how I dress...

Cute outfits! I love the color of the skirt in the first one.
I love the Cottingley pictures. I wish I could believe in those things, but my mind is too overly rational for that.
