Hemingway and Harvey

Peaceful day today, which allowed me to catch up on some reading. Currently I am reading The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway. It's really good and I am certainly enjoying it. I'm a big fan. I really like The Old Man And The Sea and The Snows Of Kilimanjaro.

The Hemingway's have been very impressive to me lately. Ernest is a genius, but then there's his great granddaughter, Dree Hemingway. She used to be a ballet dancer and now she is trying her hand at modeling.

Whowhatweardaily.com even dedicated a spread to her style:

I got to watch Milk yesterday. For those of you who are not aware, it's based on the life of Harvey Milk, who was an advocate for gay rights. It was very good, and I'm not the only one who thinks so--it won two Academy Awards(best actor and best screenplay).

Nice post. I've always been rather curious about Dree. I really need to read some Hemingway...and see Milk. I have no excuses for not doing these things now that I'm on spring break.
