So, I am officially on spring break today. Apparently I was since 10:45 am. I thought it wouldn't start until tomorrow, but my Friday class is not demanding my attendance. So, that is how I arrived to this holiday, but I regret to inform that it will seem to be a little dull. I don't really have anything planned for my week ahead.
I didn't wear my scarf like this today. I actually did wear a light blue embroidered beanie hat, but I was trying to discover other ways to wear this scarf. I got the scarf from Wet Seal almost a year ago and I've only worn it about once.
I do like the headscarf trend, even though it is a little bit old. But I guess good fashions never really go out of style. They have been around for so long--worn in the 1960s and still in the Muslim community. Unfortunately, though, I could not find any recent pictures of headscarves, so these are a little old as well...
On the runway (Paul Smith):
Nicely enough, they have been used for cancer patients who have lost their hair through chemo:
Of course it has trickled down to celebrity style:
Jennifer Lopez:
Katie Holmes:
Eva Longoria, Nicole Ritchie, Lindsay Lohan:
