The Queen of the Skies...

Air pioneer Amelia Earhart was born today in 1897. Remembering her today, made me think of this great Earhart--inspired editorial. Influential in the world of aviation, Earhart has even become a fashion muse to Jean Paul Gaultier for his Fall/Winter 2009 Hermes collection.

I've always been interested in the famous Amelias, especially since there are so few of them. Earhart is really inspiring! What a fantastic editorial.
