Background, Fireworks, and Outfits...

You already saw my post on what America means to me. The thing you may not know about me though, is that my American roots do not have longevity. My father immigrated here from Northern Africa and my maternal grandparents came from Lithuania during WWII. Most of my extended family does not even live in America, but I have never left North America, sadly. I love the blending/appreciation of cultures that my background has brought to me though.

Saw fireworks at the Marina Civic Center in Panama City, Florida...

I am taking the time to catch you up on my clothes. This is Friday's outfit...

(Details: Thrifted skirt, Maurices top)

White shoes and green Rue 21 bag--accessories I've used on this trip..

Saturday's outfit...

(Details: Black skirt and star top from Target)

I do own a real tripod to use at home, etc. to take my pictures. While traveling though, I find it much more convenient to bring along this mini tripod. Of course you have to set it up on something, but it's still helpful.
