Birthdays, Firsts & Outfits...

Today in 1847 the first U.S. postage stamps were issued. These two were said to be the first stamps.

One of my favorite Princesses would/should be celebrating a birthday today. Princess Dianna was only born in 1961. Despite her troublesome life of eating disorders and failed marriages, she was still a beautiful woman who experienced such a tragic end. I had to include this outfit because it was one she wore recently after her marriage was facing turmoil. This shows that she wouldn't be let down by struggle.

Singer Debbie Harry (of Blondie fame) is 64 today (1945). Her style is very 80s, but she pulls it off so well.

Cosmetics executive Estee Lauder was born today in 1908. In honor, I've decided to include some Estee Lauder ads...

What I wore yesterday.

The t-shirt says "I'm an English major, you do the math." It suits me perfectly.
