Apparently I've been living under a stone...

Today in 1799, Pierre-Francois Bouchard discovered the Rosetta Stone. It was a "basalt tablet...[that] provided the key to the decipherment of Egyptian hieroglyphics."
This amazes me because when I think of Rosetta Stone, I just think of the language learning software. I had no idea that it was a real stone.

This is what I wore yesterday. The sunlight brightened the shirt a lot in the 2nd photo. My t-shirt is lilac-colored, and says "Boston" on it. I wore it over a dress with white sneakers.

I remember seeing the Rosetta clone in the first room of the British Museum when I was younger and being in absolute awe. So crazy to think how it completely changed the way we saw old languages! And loving the lilac t-shirt :)

We are the two sides of the same coin. I didn't know it was also a learning software. So you see, with both our knowlegdes we would have gotten there :D

Yeah! for the lilac Boston T!

So we used the Rosetta stone to decipher languages....what if how we deciphered the Rosetta stone was wrong??? That would be my Psych teacher..... Getting too deep for me ;)
