1 beatle, 1 outfit, 1 designer...

Today is the 67th birthday of singer/composer Sir Paul McCartney (1942). It amazes me how old he is getting. I guess it's been a long time since the Beatles. I must say that he still looks as handsome...

I was out taking pictures today. Lately my favorite color clothes to buy have been darker colors because they suit me more. Today, however, I have decided to color it up some. I've had this sunflower clip for years and this is one of the very few times I have worn it.

I love when fashion shows get theatrical. There's something about the pictures and crazy outfits that makes me want to play dress up. The Lanvin Resort collection certainly did not disappoint. It was full of everything for "beachcombers, urban sophisticates, even brides--to--be."

As beautiful as the individual shots are, the sets add even more to the looks.

that lanvin show is so dramatic! i love it. It is hard to believe how old paul is, he was never my favorite (George will forever hold my heart) but any link to the beatles is good in my book

Those shoes were an excellent score. I adore them. They're so easy to wear, and I scored them on sale @ Target for like $10. I love them with flowy more bohemian dresses, but I also love to use them to break up a more bland outfit. Gorgeous detailing on them.

Excellent post!
